I went here about 2 weeks ago to have lunch and see the sights. The building looks like it got hit by an Iowa tornado, is quite a sight.
I can see this thing when i drive to Abu Dhabi. Just a quick glimpse in between buildings. The first time i saw it, i thought it was a mistake or the sun and reflections were playin tricks on me.
Nop, it's twisted
For a photographer and how you are to use light to accent your subject, this twisted building works from any angle. It's great!
My lunch spot.
Well now i am out by the water on the other side of the twisted building. They have skydiving here.
And there are big boats here.
You can see the Burj Al Arab, all suite hotel to the left and the Burj Khalifa to the right. Now that tall building has got to be 12 miles away.
Oh and i got my ticket to go up it on the 28th of April. You got to get your tickets about 3 weeks in advance, it is that popular of a site. That's if you want a time around just getting dark for taking pics.
This guy was in the skydiving shop. Out of his cage just lookin around.
I talked to this gal, she works here jumping tandem and packin shoots, she was nice enough to let me take pictures of her.
First time that i watched a shoot get packed. A lot to it.
OK, So a crooked, twisted building gets a crooked picture, RIGHT
Well as usual i am out late again. So which restaurant do i choose for my evening meal. There must be 50 choices.
Just sit back, watch the money drift by, and enjoy the evening.
